Shivam was engaged by Horsell to design a solution. A public facing website was deployed to handle the collection of policy application information. For the respective products available a design was created and product specific information was included for that products section of the site. The user can then initiate a wizard style questionnaire that prompts for all the information required by Horsell to determine the policy premium. After purchasing, the customer is emailed (and can also download from the site) the standard policy documentation (such as the product disclosure statement, policy schedule and statement of fact).
Secondly an administrative system was deployed to allow staff to easily see and administrate what policies had been created on the system. Staff could modify the policy, apply modifications to the policy premium and reissue documentation. Administrators can create new accounts for Brokers to use when creating policies on the public website. Administrators also have the ability to create reports against the policies created on the system. A common rating engine was developed to drive all Horsell products and interface with underwriting system has been created.
The solution was deployed on Windows 2008 ASP.Net 3.5 with SQL Server 2005.
Deployment of the simple to use SugarCube CMS system with integrated Course Management functionality. Integrated with an online payment gateway and direct communication to their CRM system.
The team at Shivam opted to work with Microsoft SQL server and ASP.net to extend its Content Management System. The team specifically choose Microsoft MVC and JQuery based solutions to provide rich user interface but at the same time to keep programming at the cutting edge of technology. Combined with SQL server as a database engine it would allow the system to scale up easily in the future. The team at Shivam created cross browser applications to allow Engineering Education Australiato manage their courses from anywhere. The extensive set of web services will allow Engineering Education Australiato integrate data captured through online system into their internal CRM system and to follow up and manage their clients’ offline. Providing integration with Engineering Education Australia’s internal system now delivers a more streamlined business process management.
Shivam developed an online registration system for the IELTS.org website. The system collected the registration information across six steps and then stored them, utilise the stored data and generated a completed, printable PDF document for the registrant to download and print. Shivam provided technical expertise to implement the solution on existing infrastructure.
Shivam provided help and technical expertise to in-hose technical team helping them making changes to existing system and integrate it with newly developed system. The solution was developed using Visual Studio 2008 with ASP.Net MVC and deployed on IELTS existing web server running Windows Server 2003.
Shivam used MVC on this project as it produced a lightweight, stable output that could be more easily maintained and developed. This side stepped a number of issues present in ASP.Net Web Forms solutions around the area of “View State” corruption and increased page size. User input was validated by the jQuery Validate plugin which provides a highly extensible and customisable system for validating form input.
Shivam provided a 3 part solution. First, a simple public website that would describe the programs and offers that Infinite Rewards provides and entice new members and partners to Infinite Rewards.
Secondly, a members site (which could be white labelled for different partners) that members could log into and view offers available to them, view and print vouchers and update their personal details. Partners receive a unique Uri for their members to use, ie: viptel.infiniterewards.com.au.
Finally an administrative site which would allow addition of membership plans, new members, addition and review of offers to be shown on the member’s site, addition and management of new partners and reporting on the valuable data collected from members. The scope of the user’s access depended on whether the user was an IR staff member or partner.
Shivam developed an online database driven application for IAEC’s internal use. The system collection client, staff and institute data and from that was able to trigger follow up notifications, reminders as well as generate some reports. All staff were required to logon to the system before being able to access its data. The solution was developed using Visual Studio 2008 with ASP.Net MVC 1.0 and deployed on IAECs new web server running Windows Server 2008.
